I
entered my first cheese competition in 2007 sponsored by the American Dairy Goat Association held in conjunction with their annual conference.  This is the largest goat cheese competition in the nation.  Because I was newly licensed, I was considered an amateur. 

I entered three cheeses as I was just trying to learn the ropes.  Of the three I entered, two cheeses placed - my plain chevre was awarded third place - my classic feta was awarded second place.

I plan to enter the American Cheese Society competition and will be entering more cheeses in the commercial class of ADGA's competition.  Stay tuned for more award winning cheese!
